Mark Boombastik & Eduardo Delgado Lopez lassen ein musikalisches Spektrum von Hip Hop, Dub und Jungle über Punk bis hin zu Latin und Funk durch den Künstlerclub schallen!
Als DJs wie auch als Musiker schaffen sie einen Sound, der beschränkte Konventionen aufbricht.
Eduardo Delgado Lopez spielte in Clubs, wie Toaster und WMF sowie als Bassist im gemeinsamen Projekt "Mark Boombastik & Eduardo Delgado Lopez" (Shitkatapult), beim Caspar Brötzmann Massaker oder bei den Reality Brothers.
Wie gemacht für Mark Boombastiks Beat(Boxing) beispielsweise ist sein musikalischer Stil und seine Technik, die als radikal, zugleich minimalistisch und sequentiell gilt.

Box-desoxi

Mab is a Brazilian artist currently based in Berlin and Hamburg. In her work she researches in in the field of performance, choreography music, dance and technology. She studied Contemporary Dance at the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil and Performance Studies at the University of Hamburg.
Ian is a Brazilian musician, currently student of MA – Music Authorship at University of Bahia (UFBA), Brazil. His research has been focus on electric guitar and composition. Ian also works as music director in the field of theater, cinema and dance.
Box-desoxi is an artistic project of the sibling Mab and Ian Cardoso. The starting point of this encounter is the intersection of both researches, which interweave music, dance and performance art. It has been developed in Berlin since February 2017 as part of the Artistic Residency at Altes Finazamt.
Desoxi is a radical that indicates the withdrawal of oxygen. Box is a place, a happening, a moment shared in space and time. Box-desoxi is the search for the uncomfortable and vertiginous creative atmosphere. Establishment of an arena, propitious to everything, tending to nothingness. What mysteries does this box contains?
