“invisible person” by MEGAN BRAILEY

Courtesy of the Artist
“invisible person” seeks to work between dance, butoh theatre, performance and speculative mechanisms, to consider the process of creating a bodily archive through performance. This dance specifically is constructed of a series of images that are based both on concrete memories and objects, as well as imaginations and speculations.
MEGAN BRAILEY is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary performance artist, movement practitioner, researcher, archivist and writer. Brailey’s work spans dance, butoh theatre-dance, performance and installation art, immersive theatre, and spoken word poetry. They primarily investigate the embodiment of cultural histories, gender and class politics, philosophical concepts and psycho-somatics.
