"Perceiving Proximity" is an improvisation-based piece that unfolds within the fragile space between recognition and estrangement. Two presences drift through distances that contract and expand, sensing what lies just beyond clarity. What appears close slips away; what feels far reveals an unexpected intimacy. The work breathes through tension, between knowing and not knowing, reaching and retreating, tracing the invisible threshold where perception wavers and transforms. It is less about what we see, and more about what remains, the silent pulse between two bodies, the subtle vibration of what cannot be named but is undeniably felt.“
